Today's Text: Galatians 6:1-10

Key Verse: Galatians 6:7 (KJV): "Be not deceived: God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

The natural world, in which the principle of sowing and reaping is a fundamental truth, is a witness to spiritual reality. When a farmer sows seeds in the ground, he expects to reap a harvest in due season. The type and quality of the seeds he sows will determine the type and quality of the harvest he reaps. This principle is not limited to the natural world; it also applies to the spiritual realm. Before us today is a text in which apostle Paul admonishes us that God makes sure that whatsoever a man sows is also what he reap. This verse reminds us that our actions, words, and thoughts have consequences, and that we will not miss the harvest of whatever we sow.

When we sow seeds of kindness, love, and generosity, we can expect to reap a harvest of joy, peace, and blessing. On the other hand, when we sow seeds of hatred, bitterness, and selfishness, we can expect to reap a harvest of sorrow, pain, and destruction. This principle is not limited to our individual lives; it also applies to our relationships with others. When we sow seeds of forgiveness, mercy, and compassion, we can expect to reap a harvest of reconciliation, healing, and restoration. On the other hand, when we sow seeds of anger, resentment, and unforgiveness, we can expect to reap a harvest of conflict, division, and destruction.

Why not, therefore, let us live a life that is pleasing to God, and sow seeds of righteousness, justice, and mercy; so that we reap a harvest of joy, peace, and blessing. But how can we do this? How can we live a life that is pleasing to God? Galatians 6:8 says, "he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." We have a choice to make. We can choose to sow seeds of fleshly desires, or we can choose to sow seeds of spiritual desires. Your harvest is your choice.

Action Steps: Reflect, today, on the seeds you have been sowing in your life. Ask God to help you sow seeds of righteousness, Trust in God's promise to reap a harvest of life everlasting for all the seeds of spiritual desires you sow.

Quote for the Day: "Men who sow seeds of love, kindness, and compassion reap a harvest of joy, peace, and blessing." (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding us that whatsoever we sow, we shall reap. Help us to sow seeds of righteousness, justice, and mercy. Give us the strength and courage to live a life that is pleasing to You. May we reap a harvest of joy, peace, and blessing as we trust in Your promise — in Jesus's most glorious name. Amen.
