Daily Scripture Threshing for Saturday, March 1, 2025

Today's Text: Joshua 1:1-9

Key Verse: Joshua 1:9 (ESV): "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

As we have received God's grace to see the month of March 2025, let us march forward in faith and victory. Our strength and courage come from the Lord. When God commissions Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land in Joshua 1:1-9, He reminded him of his need to be strong and courageous. Just as God's presence and promise was with Joshua wherever he went, so is He with us wherever we went. So, we gave the power to break our statusquo and march forward tgrough this foundation of divine strength and courage.

Everyone of us, followers of Christ, are called to march forward in faith and victory; not by our own struggles, strengths or strategies, but through the strength and courage that come from Jesus Christ our Lord, who is always with us. Our challenge, however, has always been our inability to boldly and courageously trust in God's power and provision to overcome any obstacle or challenge that seeks to stop us from marching forward. We are marching forward, not just momentarily for March but as a lifestyle. It is a call for us. Each one of us is called to be an overcomer.

You are chosen to be victorious in the midst of challenges and hardships. Therefore march forward trusting in God's presence, power and provision. March forward always keeping your eyes fixed on the prize, which is eternal life in Christ Jesus. March! All earthly struggles and hardships thay deter us are temporary. But the glory and reward that await us in eternity are forever. Do you ever feel like giving up the victory march? Are you losing your momentum because of the challenges and hardships you are facing? You are not alone. Jesus is with you. Trust in God's presence, power and provision in your life, and you can keep marching forward in faith and victory.

Action Steps: Ask God to give you the strength and courage to march forward in faith and victory. Focus on God's power and provision, and trust in Him to overcome any obstacle or challenge. Surround yourself with supportive fellow believers who can encourage and strengthen you. Keep your eyes fixed on the prize, which is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Quote for the Day: "We march forward in faith and victory, not because of our own strength or power, but because of the power and provision of our God." (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)

Let Us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today, asking for the strength and courage to march forward in faith and victory. Help me to trust in Your power and provision, and to keep my eyes fixed on the prize. Surround me with supportive fellow believers who can encourage and strengthen me — in Jesus's most glorious name. Amen.
